The Dell EMC LTO Ultrium 8 Data Cartridge 0Y577J holds up to 12TB at speeds up to 360MB/sec in native or uncompressed capacity, with up to 30TB at speeds up to 900MB/sec of compressed capacity. The DellEMC LTO Ultrium 8 tape cartridge uses the latest recording technology Barium Ferrite, (BaFe) which improves reliability, longevity and density. The Dell LTO8 tape is designed to be used in all Dell LTO Ultrium 8 tape drives and libraries. The Dell LTO8 tape cartridge is suitable for read and write use in all brands of LTO8 or LTO Ultrium 8 tape drives and tape libraries.

Drives that use the Dell LTO Ultrium 8 data cartridges 0Y577J are recommended to use an LTO Ultrium Universal Cleaning Cartridge to keep the drive clean.

Warranty Information

Warranty Dell Inc. ("Dell") warrants to the end user, in accordance with the following provisions, that its hardware products, purchased by the end user directly from Dell or from an authorized distributor/reseller of Dell in Latin America or the Caribbean, are free from defects in materials, workmanship and design affecting normal use for a period of one year from original purchase date. Products for which a proper claim is made shall be, at Dell's discretion (in those jurisdictions where such decision lies in Dell's power), repaired or replaced at Dell's expense. All the parts removed from the repaired products shall become the property of Dell. Dell uses parts from various manufacturers to make repairs. The parts may be new or refurbished (except when by law Dell must use new parts in the repair) and of equivalent or higher quality and technology, with respect to the original product specifications. Exclusions This warranty does not apply to defects arising from: Normal wear and tear.
