The Garner TS-1XTE degausser generates an evenly distributed 20,000 Gauss (2 Tesla) magnetic field. The Garner TS-1XTE delivers maximum erasure to every area of the drive or tape, no matter how drives or tapes are oriented in the media drawer. The Garner TS-1 degausser also comes with a SCAN-1 software and scanner package to create a media destruction report as you degauss that will satisfy the auditors or your customers.

In order for the Garner TS-1XTE to be added to the NSA/CSS Evaluated Products List (EPL), degaussers are laboratory tested to ensure complete erasure to the level required for U.S. government classified Top Secret data. The Garner TS-1 degausser can erase up to 720 x 1.8" HDD's, 480 x 2.5" HDD's, and 80 x 3.5" HDD's per hour.
