The HPE LTO-8 30750 SAS External/Desktop Tape drive kit BC023A comes with the drive, documentation, a HPE LTO-8 tape cartridge and a miniSAS High Density (HD) SFF8644 to miniSAS SFF8088 1m cable so you can start backing up straight away! If this cable does not suit the connections you require we can exchange it for a a miniSAS SFF8088 to miniSAS SFF8088 1m cable. These drive kits come with a HPE 3 years parts exchange warranty with next business day response (NBD) to ensure you are always able to rely on your HPE LTO8 drive to backup, archive and restore.
The HPE LTO-8 30750 SAS external tape drive will read and write to LTO-8 tapes and read and write to LTO-7 tapes giving you flexibility when you upgrade.

HPE recomend their LTO Ultrium universal cleaning cartridges to clean these drives when they require a cleaning tape to be loaded.
