Description

The HPE LTO-9 WORM Data Cartridge or HPE LTO Ultrium 9 WORM tape cartridge Q2079W can hold up to 18TB of native or uncompressed capacity at a transfer rate of 400MB/sec and up to 45TB of compressed data at a transfer rate of up to 1,000MB/sec or 1GB/sec. The HPE LTO9 WORM data cartridge uses Barium Ferrite (BaFe) as it's storage particle medium and has 8,960 tracks and is 1,035m or over 1km long. The HPE LTO 9 WORM tape is a Write Once Read Many (WORM) tape and suitable for backup and archive where you wish to keep the data unchanged, but can read the data as often as required. The HPE LTO-9 WORM data cartridge supports partitioning and is backward compatible and therefore suitable to be read and written to in all LTO9 or LTO Ultrium 9 tape drives and should be able to be read and written to in all LTO10 or LTO Ultrium 10 tape drives when they are released.

Always load the most recent firmware in drives, install software patches in applications, run HPE diagnostics and utilities such as Library and Tape Tools and implement temporary procedures or work arounds by HPE while HPE works on a permanent solution. Cooperate with HPE in attempting to resolve the problem over the telephone. This may involve performing routine diagnostic procedures, installing additional software or patches, removing third party options and/or substituting options. Australia Warranty Policy HEWLETT PACKARD ENTERPRISE AUSTRALIA WARRANTY POLICY: YOUR CONSUMER RIGHTS When you buy a good from Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a consumer, the good comes with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
