Description

The HPE (rebadged) LTO Ultrium7 15000 internal drive or HPE LTO-7 internal drive C7678 is a SAS connected re-badged HPE LTO7 tape drive. The drive bundle comes with the internal LTO7 tape drive, documentation, a HPE LTO-7 tape, and a data cable which is a mini-SAS SFF8482. The drive comes with a better warranty than HPE's standard LTO tape drive warranty, as it is a 3 year advanced replacement warranty meaning the drive will be replaced if the problem cannot be resolved over the phone. The drive can read and write to LTO7 tapes at up to 300MB/sec native (up to 6TB) or 750MB/sec compressed (up to 15TB) and it can read and write to LTO6 tapes (up to 2.5TB native/6.25TB compressed) but can read only LTO5 tapes.
