LTO9, LTO Ultrium 9 RW Data Cartridges

The LTO9 Ultrium RW data cartridges are rewriteable (RW) and are the most comonly used form of LTO ultrium 9 tapes as they are written over when the data they hold expires. These LTO-9 RW tape cartridges are generally cheaper than the alternative which is the Write Once Read Many (WORM) data cartridges. WORM LTO9 tape cartridges are mainly used for data that requires a long retention period and protection from the data bring deleted or overwritten.

These LTO ULtrium 9 RW data tapes can be written to and read as required in a LTO Ultrium 9 tape drive only.
