Description

The Quantum LTO4 or LTO Ultrium 4 data cartridge MR-L4MQN-01 has a native capacity of up to 800GB and up to 1.6TB compressed capacity. The Quantum LTO 4 tape can write the data at up to 120MB/second native or up to 240MB/second compressed. The Quantum LTO 4 cartridges have 896 tracks and a tape length of 820 meters. The Quantum LTO4 tape has a lifetime durability of 1,000,000 passes. A pass is each time the tape changes direction so a backup could have over 1,000 passes or more depending on the data written.The Quantum LTO4 cartridges are backward compatible and therefore suitable to be read and written to in all LTO4 or LTO Ultrium4 drives, suitable for read or write in all LTO5 or LTO Ultrium5 drives, and can be read only in LTO6 or LTO Ultrium6 drives.

Drives that use the Quantum LTO Ultrium 4 data cartridges MR-L4MQN-01 are recommended to use the Quantum LTO Ultrium Universal Cleaning Cartridge MR-LUCQN-01 to keep the drive clean.

Quantum Corporation ("Quantum") warrants, subject to the limitations set forth below, that this Quantum media cartridge product (the "Product") is free from defects in material and manufacture at the time of purchase. If any defect in material or manufacture appears within the warranty period, Quantum's entire liability, and your exclusive remedy is, at Quantum's sole option, for Quantum to: (a) repair the Product, (b) replace the Product or (c) refund to you the purchase price of the Product, provided that the Product is returned to Quantum with proof of purchase such as a purchase order, invoice, or sales receipt. This warranty does not apply to the failure of the Product resulting from misuse, abuse, accident, neglect or mishandling, improperly adjusted or maintained tape drives, incorrect environments, or wear from ordinary use.
