The Tandberg Data LTO5 Ultrium 5 Data Cartridge 433955 holds up to 1.5TB in native or uncompressed capacity and up to 3.0TB of compressed capacity. The Overland Tandberg LTO Ultrium 5 data cartridge has a transfer rate of up to 140MB/sec while writing data in native capacity, and up to 280MB/sec while writing data in compressed capacity.

As the LTO Ultrium technology is an open technology, these Overland Tandberg LTO 5 tapes are certified for read and write use in LTO5 tape drives, for read and write use in LTO6 tape drives, and for read only in LTO7 tape drives. This can be a any brand of stand-alone LTO tape drive, or LTO tape drive installed in an autoloader or tape library carrying the LTO Ultrium logo.
