Tandberg RDX 1.0TB Cartridge 8586-RDX

The Tandberg RDX 1.0TB Cartridge 8586-RDX has a capacity of up to 1TB and is designed for use in all Tandberg Data and Overland Storage RDX drives. It can also be used in all other brands of RDX drive as RDX is an open technology. Overland Tandberg own the RDX technology so you can feel safe using this technology. Both the drives and the cartridges come with a Bronze 3 year warranty which includes: 9x5 telephone support, advanced parts replacement with 2 business day delivery timeframe.

The Tandberg RDX cartridges are designed to withstand drop shock of up to 1m to a concrete floor and have a 10 year media archival life. It supports filesystems such as NTFS, FAT32, exFAT, ex2, ex3, ex4 and Mac OS Extended (HFS Plus). Unlike LTO tape you can use any capacity of cartridge in the RDX drive. If daily backups are small you can use 500GB or 1TB cartridges, and if weekly or monthly backups are larger you can use 5TB cartridges or multiple 5TB cartridges.
