The Turtle 549 Waterproof Pluckable Equipment Case 07-549002 is suitable for all large pieces of equipment with its 13mm or 1/2 pluckable foam cubes allows the space to be customised. The Turtle 549 equipment case is air-tight, dustproof, waterproof and ATA certified.

Airline transport container suitable for a minimum of 100 airline trips
Impact Resistance Test; samples were exposed to impact using a bar weighing 13.2lbs with a hemispherical end of 3.2cm. Bar was dropped with its longitudinal axis vertical on to each sample’s weakest point from a height of 0.5m. Samples were conditioned to a temperature of -20°C before impact exposure.

Drop tests - a series of drops on each edge, corner and face of the case from a height of no less than 48cm(19”) and with loads of 6.8-31.8kg(15-70lbs) determined by case size. Samples were conditioned at lab ambient conditions and then temperatures of -28°C and +60°C for a minimum of 3 hours at each condition.

Warranty Information

Perm-A-Store, manufacturer of Turtle brand transport and storage cases, warrants its products against defects in workmanship and materials for the lifetime of its use. Coverage: The warranty applies only to the original end user purchaser. “Lifetime of use” refers to the expected useful life of the product under normal use and conditions. The warranty covers only manufacturing defects present at the time of purchase. The warranty does not extend to damage to the contents of the case including loss of data associated with failure of the case. Remedy: If a product is determined to be in violation of its warranty, Perm-A-Store, will, at its option (a) repair the product (b) replace the product or (c) refund the purchase price of the product. All returns to Perm-A-Store must be authorized before shipment. Exceptions: Perm-A-Store warranties do NOT apply to product failure resulting from wear from ordinary use, misuse, abuse, accident, neglect, mishandling, improper adjustment, installation or maintenance, or incorrect environments. Bottom Line – if you are unhappy with your Turtle product we want to hear about it and we’ll do our best to make it right!
